Happpppppy Friday! The Friday Five is back, with a vengeance. And it’s been a Hoboken type of week, so there’s lots to discuss. Not very random this week, but very Hoboken-centric. Get ready for these goodies.
1. St. Ann’s Festival:
St. Ann’s Festival in Hoboken wrapped up last night (with a bit of a thunderstorm), but all in all it seemed to be a successful little festival! My favorite part was the eating the delicious cannolis on 7th street:
How ridiculous are these? So delicious.
2. Cherry Blossom from the Clinton Social:
There’s nothing better than a yummy cherry blossom cocktail from the Clinton Social. They also have amazing goat cheese pierogies, which are a delicious appetizer. I discussed them a while back, here, when I went on a 1/2 off “Sweet Teas” night. MMM!
3. dear hannah, Fashion Find!
How cute is this bad boy? I just loved the blue and thought it was a perfect dress to wear to one of the many weddings I have coming up! What do you think I should pair it with? I’m still on the fence.
4. Ombre Highlights from Ashley Branda, formerly of Beauty Parlour
If you follow HG on Instagram, you’ll know that I just got a cut and highlights from Ashley, my fave hairstylist yesterday. The link above is a write-up from awhile ago about my experience at the Beauty Parlour with Ashley, who now works at Rebellations. I just went back and got *NEW* ombre highlights – with a bit more of a blonder hue. I also got a cut, which I’m in love with – I feel so much lighter and my split ends are gone. What do you think of the ombre?
5. Pink Rebecca Minkoff from Iconic Fashion Lounge
This pic is from Mayor Zimmer’s recent makeover at Iconic Fashion Lounge (video to come) – but how cute is this cross-body Rebecca Minkoff? I love the distressed pink leather – and it’s not the pink that is hard to pair with other colors — it’s almost a neutral!
